When should Christmas shopping start?

Yesterday I saw a garden centre with the Christmas bits out on display? When should Xmas shopping start? Its just a bit early now methinks.

Christmas in August? Yeah, I think it's too early. November-December is the best month to start shopping for Christmas

I think December will be bit late for Christmas Shopping. By December we'll not be able to buy the newest arrivals from shops, as they will be sold out So, the best time will the end of November. (the time I go shopping every year )
